I use this pad for my baby and I to sleep on at night. It is big enough to protect from any diaper spills as well as breast milk leaks. It is reasonably soft, breathes well and it does a great job catching the spills. I just wish it was a little more substantial in its weight, as it tends to bunch up and fold underneath us a bit. Overall though I found it to be a good buy.

I use this pad for nursing in bed while lying down with baby. Great for any milk leaks and diaper leaks in the bed. Has held up well with 2x week hot water washing for 3 months. Will be ordering another for diaper free time on the floor with baby. Strongly recommend.

We purchased these in 8/08 after reading the 6/08 review (hence we took into account the non-organic materials, which we appreciate that the reviewer pointed out).
+While the pad is bulkier than typical, this is a plus when changing our daughter on a hard public surface such as a bathroom floor or changing table (I put a disposable changing pad underneath though so the cloth doesn't absorb any dirt/germs.)
+The pads are extremely absorbent. We use them when we give our daughter 'air time' and our area rugs have always stayed dry.
+Finally while they initially 'pilled' during the wash they have held up extremely well during the last 6 months of washing/drying. I believe they would last through multiple children.

This is a nice and soft pad, however, what the description does not mention is that only the surface material is organic cotton. The filling is 100% polyester and it is backed with 100% polyurethane tricot, and this renders it not reversible. Also, it is not a thin pad, like I assumed, and it won't fold flat and carry easily. I called the manufacturer as I was concerned about what was used for the microbial protection and was informed that no chemical protection was used, the protection comes from the way the fabric is made. I have yet to try how waterproof it is. Nice and soft, but thicker than I thought it was, and I don't like that it is filled with the polyester for padding.
